Hints for killing the Massive Land Jellyfish[edit]

Preparation:

Proceeding

  • At least two different party members take turns hitting the Land Jellyfish. No player should hit twice in a row (except the second hit kills the Jellyfish)!
  • Before each hit, control your own Life Points and those of your party members. The one who hits needs at least 40% of his LP (his LP can be reduced by the 10%- and the direct attack of the Jellyfish; the others' LP can only be reduced by the 10%-attack). If a player has less than 40% LP, he should heal.
  • As soon as the Land Jellyfish builds up a protective shield, it should be removed by a player (be quick!). As there is no chat text when the protection is removed, the player should give a sign to his party members.

Suggestion

  • Division of work: One player cares for removing the protection, another players cares for party healing, ...
  • Timing: Make sure in advance in which order the party members shall hit. Make a little break after each hit to give everybody the time to control their LP and heal if needed. If something is wrong, write "STOP!".
  • As the Jellyfish can build up a protective shield and move to another field at the same time, at least a second player (better:all) should have a few Dispel Mindless Protection spells so they can run after the Jellyfish and remove the shield fast. This is important when the hitting player is the one who usually cares for removing the protective shield but is stunned for 6 seconds from hitting.
