Magic Preservation
This Skill allows you to prolong the time a magic item has before it dissolves. You need a Wand of Magic, a Wand of Greater Magic or a Magic Preservation Spell to use this Skill, and the magic item's duration can only be prolonged once. This Skill allows you to prolong the total lifespan of an item by 5% per Llevel. This ability is in the Book of Magic Preservation.
Calculation:
Preservation by (1,05Level - 1) * 100 Percent

Function:
  • One can preserve items by 5% per Level.
Miscellaneous:
  • The use of the Wand of Greater Magic gives a supplementary bonus of 10% (1.1 times the formula above). This equals about two more Levels of Magic Preservation. The Magic Preservation Spell gives a bonus of 30% which equals about 5 more Levels of Magic Preservation.
  • Dark Mages learn this Skill 3% faster.
