'''Weapons''' are [[Item|Items]] that a [[Character]] can equip in order to increase their own attack power, and thus inflict more damage to every opponent. They vary in their strength and have different requirements, moreover, they can be [[magic|magical]].
The more powerful a weapon the greater is the chance of a [[NPC]] to drop a [[Soul Capsule]].

== Equipment - How do I use a weapon? == 

Some [[Weapons]] are offered in [[Shop|Shops]], others are [[Drop-Item|dropped]] from [[NPC|NPCs]] with different chance. To equip a weapon make sure it is in the [[Inventory]]. Right beside the name there is a link called "As weapon". Use it to enable and disable the weapon. Activated weapons are displayed in the status area and have a different colouring in the Inventory.

== Abrasion ==

Weapons wear out over time. You can see How far they are worn out in the detailed description ("Examine" in the Item menu). In case the condition of a weapon is below a certain percentage, the weapon will be disabled and has to be [[Weapons Repair|repaired]] to be used again. With increasing the [[Skill]] [[Weapon Finesse|Weapon Finesse]] a weapon can be worn with a lower percentage. The Skill [[Repairmanship]] reduces the price of repair.

== Variation ==

Weapons can be [[Magic Tree|reinforced]] or [[Copy Machine|copied]], but are [[magic]] afterwards. Like every other Item they can be protected against [[Theft Protection|Theft]] or [[Protection against loss due to death|loss due to death]].
